Care at the Core of Humanity (CATCH) is a child protection organization registered under the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare as PVO 35/12. CATCH thematic focus include child protection, child rights, child welfare, child participation and social justice.

Case Management and Psychosocial Support

CATCH has adopted a socio-legal approach that addresses both the welfare and protection needs of children in contact with the law.

Legal Aid

Legal aid is regarded as central in providing access to justice by ensuring equality before the law, the right to counsel and the right to a fair trial.

Research and Documentation

CATCH utilize research to generate quality evidence that is used for decision making, advocacy and adaptive programming.

Lobbying and advocacy

Evidence collected through case management, legal aid, research and documentation is used to lobby and advocate for policy and practice change.

CATCH  Development a Mobile Application to ensure Increased access to social justice services for young people and youth grassroots who have experienced rights violations due to COVID-19. The mobile application is supported through CATCH’s established internal rapid response mechanisms that guarantees provision of legal aid, psychosocial or medical support or for making referrals to other service providers. Users of the mobile application can login and link up directly with the CATCH support team who are always on stand-by for service uptake.

Education and Awareness

CATCH carry out awareness raising initiatives in order to educate and sensitize the community, children, duty bearers and partners on child rights issues and child protection.
