Gender Based Violence (GBV) Prevention Care & Response through Strengthening Community Support Structures, Information Dissemination Socio-legal Services & Advocacy in Epworth

The goal of the project is addressing gender-based violence in order to promote women empowerment and gender equality. Under this project CATCH offers information dissemination to empower the community, women and girls with the knowledge to identify and report incidences of GBV. This intervention has increased service uptake in the community. While providing direct service CATCH, picks up issues for advocacy and  facilitate the empowerment of women and girls through challenging legislation and policies, practices and procedures that undermine, exploit and abuse women and girls. Activities under this initiative includes court processing, court accompaniment and court monitoring, follow up support/home visits, support groups, dialogue sessions and awareness raising campaigns.
